Our District Resource Staff include a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner School Nurse on Special Assignment as the Department Safe & Drug-free Schools Coordinator, a Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor, and a Licensed School Counselor in the position of Social and Emotional Learning District Program Facilitator.

Staff members are available for:

     Phone, electronic or in-person consultation with staff, students and families regarding alcohol and drug related questions or concerns, restorative measures in schools, Social and Emotional issues like bullying, cyber bullying, and violence prevention information and supports.

     Staff, community and family presentations on Setting Boundaries for Prevention, Information Awareness, Responding to and Supporting Students Affected by Bullying, Drug and Alcohol Awareness and other related topics upon request.

     Staff consultation on setting up and managing School-Wide Violence Prevention systems and programming with a focus on Bullying Prevention, Restorative Practices, and presentations for staff, community, and family on the Second Step Violence Prevention Curriculum.
